We have four main types of courses now recruiting for 2012 and beyond.
Click on the broad groupings below for further details of the range of high quality courses from the Northern School of Game and Wildlife:
Level 3 Courses  Standards are high on these our 'flagship' game and countryside career building courses. Most successful Level 3 students progress well to either employment in gamekeeping and countryside careers or to Higher Education. Both options are 2 years full time and, as well as an interview, do require rather more in the way of academic qualifications than the Level 2 courses to apply directly.
Level 2 Courses are 1 year full time broad introductory programmes to a range of game or countryside skills and knowledge. They do have basic academic entry requirements for entry and successful students who do not have the required GCSEs (or equivalent) for direct entry to Level 3 can use their level 2 Diploma to progress up.
Apprenticeships and Work Based Courses do 'what it says on the tin' and are modern industry led qualifications gained via a mixture of employment and training. You will probably need to either be in, or have an offer of full time employment to apply.
Specialist and Short Courses cover a wide range of professional skills and legislative training requirements. You can contact us to discuss your requirements.
